“A unique and powerful statement”. World class jeweler, Wendy Tonsits, inspires those who are looking for uncompromising quality and style but above all, an artistic statement that stands out in a crowd. That is what you can expect when you wear the sculptural jewelry creations handcrafted by artist, designer and jeweler, Wendy Tonsits.

“I have always considered myself a fierce individualist” says Tonsits. It’s no accident then that the art jewelry crafted in her personal studio is a reflection of her natural self expression to be distinctive and dynamic. A mesmerizing synthesis of bold clean lines and striking relationships of form and colored gemstones is her trademark.

Wendy Tonsits offers a range of jewelry and services to her clients; Limited Edition Collections, created by hand in Sterling Silver and 14K Gold Fill, One A Kind Jewelry constructed by hand in the material of choice ranging from non-precious metals like copper or brass to also include sterling silver, gold, platinum and palladium, accented with hand selected gemstones, as well as re-mastering clients’ original jewelry into something new and inspiring!

Wendy Tonsits received her BA from the Philadelphia College of Art, currently the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating, Tonsits spent some time in Japan through Parsons School of Design, learning Japanese metalsmithing techniques first hand. Upon her return to the US, Wendy attended GIA, the Gemological Institute of America in New York City and received her Graduate Gemology Degree. Afterward she also worked in the GA Gem Trade Laboratory as a staff diamond grader.

Wendy has participated in the juried national shows sponsored by the American Craft Council and Wendy Rosen and has been a featured artist at the High Museum of Art.

Wendy Tonsits is also committed to creating an environment to inspire the next generation of up and coming jewelers and designers at her teaching studio, Amalgam Arts Atlanta, where she offers classes and workshops in jewelry and metalsmithing techniques.
